Title: 1991 Upper Peninsula Land Cover
Geospatial_Data_Presentation_Form: remote-sensing image
Description:
Abstract:
Land cover data for the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, derived from classification of Landsat Thematic Mapper (TM) imagery. Image dates of summer 1991 were used to identify land cover classes. The data is stored in a raster format with a cell resolution of 30 meters. Data is available in Erdas Imagine 8.5 image format. Data is in the Michigan GeoRef coordinate system.
Purpose:
Land cover information was developed to help identify lowland conifer vegetation types that may function as white-tailed deer habitat.
